The food service industry is a high pressured business wherein the foods must consistently be served in excellent quality and timely manner, while also attending to the demands/needs of other guests as well.
It has been said by numerous experts that the tone of the entire restaurant is set by the personality and leadership qualities of the Restaurant Manager. The entire restaurant staff looks up to the Manager and adapts accordingly. Hence, if the Manager consistently loves serving the guests, the entire staff will also exhibit the same passion.
Being a Restaurant Manager is one of the toughest in the business industries as it entails working long hours, unpredictability of business, difficult staffs, and lots of unplanned situations.

During rush hours, the Restaurant Manager needs to consistently remain under pressure, to have a calming influence on his staffs as well.
